It has been a LONG New Year's Day for me.. Shall start from what happened yesterday..

31th Dec 2004

10.18pm
Received a call from someone.. He called to asked me whether Jurong Point's cinema row R was in the front or at the back. I replied him its at the back and politely wished him Happy New Year.

*tIng sulks.*

Left the house to take bus to Pasir Ris to meet Ah boon and gang.. Was waiting for the bus when he called to tell me NOT to go to Pasir Ris but instead to meet them at 85 market for supper first! Seriously, if he called when i have already gotten onto the bus, i sure HOOT him!

*tIng starts to throw punches around in the air.*

Took a cab to 85 market.. Luckily it was before 12am so no midnight charge but there was extra $1 charge as it was public holiday eve. Had supper with Boon, Su ken, Alvin Tan, Didi, Serene and Tong.. Halfway through the meal, Boon suddenly realised that he forgot to tell Seng that we were having supper at 85 market! So he called Seng immediately only to find out that he's already on the train at TAMPINES! *laughs* Poor Seng waited there for 45 minutes ALONE!

11.20pm
Reached Pasir Ris Fisherman Village.. Went to this place with little low plastic chairs.. Been there before with Jon.

*tIng rolls her eyes.*

Its a very nice place with a good view of the beach.. But yesterday they played techno music throughout the time we were there! My ears hurt from the loud music.. I was sure that i was going deaf... Had to cover my ears.. Techno is definately not suitable for old people.aka.ME. I still prefer retro or at the very most bubblegum pop..

Drank abit of chardonney.. Was abit tispy.. But hey its New Year, so sue me for drinking!

*tIng sticks out her tongue.*

Couldn't talk much with the rest of them cause the damm blardy was too loud and the DJ was irritating.. He kept asking for couples to play games. I hate couples. And yes, its because i SINGLE and i'm insanely JEALOUS of lovey dovey couples who cant seem to keep their hands off each other. Disgustingly happy.. Horrifyingly sweet.. I hope they all die of diabetes.

*tIng pouts.*

1.40am
Couldn't stand the music anymore.. It was giving me a headache.. Felt like there were a hundred hammers pounding on my head (a hundred is jus a very conservative estimate, actual figure could be much higher!). Left the place with Alvin Tan and Su ken..

2am
Reached the gate of my house.. Head hurts like hell.. Threw up near the bushes.. Absolutely unglam i know.. But i don't really think its the alcohol. Its more like a combination of replusive techno music, idiotic DJ, disagreeable cheap wine and also plus the fact that i got caught in the rain twice in a single day! Not the best way to start the New Year.. *shrugs*

Well, was at the very least sober enough to shower and flop onto my bed.. Fell asleep almost immediately!!!!

1 Jan 2005!!!!!!!

11.30am
Alarm went off.. Woke up only to press the snooze button on my hp.. *yawnz* I was having such a nice sensual dream.. its too good to wake up now..

*tIng covered her head with her blanket.*

11.40am
Alarm rang again.. Argh.. Have to meet Su Ken at Bedok at 12.30pm.. Must force self to wake up right about NOW! *kicked off blanket and crawled out of bed* Headed for a quick shower and got dressed as fast as i could..

12.10pm
Left house.. Awfully late.. Fortunately, like all other frens, Su ken will be and was late too!! *laughs*

1.20pm
Reached Orchard FINALLY! Huilin and Weijie.aka.Husband-to-be-if-i-fail-to-get-married-by-28 were already there.. Had lunch at Wisma Mac.. Had my usual Mcspicy Double Meal with drink changed to ice lemon tea. After eating, we went to Partyworld for KTV!! So happy! Sang lots of songs.. Fen shou kuai le, Di san zhe, Its my life etc.. So shiok!! We stood up and danced around like 3 and a half mad women! Weijie is sometimes considered half a gal cause he used to be the only guy in my class and had no choice but to be our "sister". He had to tolerate our nonsenses for 2 years!

*tIng shakes her head in pity for Weijie.*

Time goes by so fast when you are having fun. It was already 6pm when we finished singing. All of us agreed that it wasn't enough and we HAVE TO go back again! Went on to walk ard HMV.. Saw a really nice tee at one of the shop.. but too bad they only had XL in size. Sian diaoz..

Proceeded to Starbucks for coffee while waiting for Shiwei to finish work.. Had a cup of English Breakfast tea..

*tIng raised her eyebrow.*

Why am i having tea? Its so unlike me to have tea at Starbucks, not to mention its English Breakfast.. Strange.. Maybe i just miss the taste thats all.. No big deal.. Its just tea you know.. Nothing else. *shrugs*

Went to Cityhall to meet Shiwei for dinner.. Su ken had to go meet Avin Tan so she didn't join us. Had dinner at Cafe Cartel.. Really nice cause we haven got the chance to meet up since all of us were busy. Absolutely full after eating.. Very satisfied *pats her tummy* I'm getting pleasantly plump. I'm just a walking tub of lard. *hurrays!*

10pm
Took train home from Cityhall.. Went to GV TM to meet Roger for the movie "Meet the Fockers". Wanted to watch that long ago but everyone else saw it liao. So i asked Roger to watch in with me since he was at home.

GV TM changed soo much.. Couldn't regconise any of the staff except for Seng.. Personally, i think its Wilson's idea to change the whole team of staff. The old staff were too united against him and he had difficulty controlling the staff. *tsk tsk*

The feeling was so different when i went back today. Its like everything was so familiar yet so strange to me. Its just like seeing your ex bf/gf. So familiar yet so distant?! You get wat i mean? *sighs*

2am
Finished watching the show.. Quite funny.. It started to rain when we walked out from GV so we took a cab home. Roger dropped me off at my gate before he went home. Took a hot shower and started blogging!

There you go! The last 24++ hours of my life!! Its a New Year with new beginning! 2004 has been a tough year for me but i've walked out a stronger and hopefully a better person.
